Indian Premier League (IPL) returns to the UAE after a 6-year gap as the 13th edition of the T20 League is all set to be played across 3 popular venues in the country from September 19 to November 10. Following the postponement of the tournament from the April-May window, the BCCI decided to shift it out of India due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Abu Dubai is one of the 3 venues which will host IPL 2020. The Sheikh Zayed Stadium will host 20 matches in the league stages, the second-most after Dubai in this year’s edition.

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host 24 matches, while Sharjah will host just 12 matches. The fixtures for the play-offs and the final is yet to be announced by the BCCI.
