Blessing Muzarabani is set to return to international cricket after he was named in the 20-man Zimbabwe squad for the upcoming tour of Pakistan, on Saturday.

Muzarabani, who had played one Test, 18 one-day international and six T20Is, had decided to put his international career on hold in 2018 and taken up a county contract with Northamptonshire.

Zimbabwe, who are set to play three one-day internationals against Pakistan, from October 30 to November 3, and three T20Is from November 7 to 10, have packed their squad with several experienced players, including Brendan Taylor, Tendai Chatara, Craig Ervine, Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams and Elton Chigumbura. The team will be led by Chamu Chibhabha.

However, they have also named youngsters like Wessly Madhevere and Richard Ngarava in the squad, apart from two uncapped players - Milton Shumba and Faraz Akram.

The touring party will go into a bio-secure bubble in Harare on Monday before leaving for Pakistan on October 19.

Squad: Chamu Chibhabha ©, Faraz Akram, Ryan Burl, Brian Chari, Tendai Chatara, Elton Chigumbura, Tendai Chisoro, Craig Ervine, Tinashe Kamunhukamwe, Wessly Madhevere, Wellington Masakadza, Carl Mumba, Richmond Mutumbami, Blessing Muzarabani, Richard Ngarava, Sikandar Raza, Milton Shumba, Brendan Taylor, Donald Tiripano, Sean Williams
