Vivo X60 curved screen edition announced with 120Hz display, Exynos 1080 chipset

Vivo launched Vivo X60 along with X60 Pro and X60 Pro+ smartphones in India earlier this year. Now the company has announced Vivo X60 curved screen edition smartphone in China. The new variant of Vivo X60 comes with a curved display. The original model comes with a flat display.

The Vivo X60 curved screen edition comes in Midnight Black, Shimmer Blue and Shimmer White colours. It is priced at 3499 yuan (Rs 39,630 approx.) for 8GB +128GB, 3799 yuan (Rs 43,020 approx.) for 8GB+256GB and 3999 yuan (Rs 45,290 approx.) for the top-end 12GB + 256GB version.

Vivo X60 curved screen edition Specs

Vivo X60 curved screen edition sports a 6.56-inch E3 AMOLED display with a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels, a 19.8:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the 2.8GHz Octa-Core Exynos 1080 paired with upto 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It also has an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The Vivo X60 curved screen edition packs triple rear cameras with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with Sony IMX598 sensor, f/1.48 aperture LED flash, a 13-megapixel 120° ultra-wide lens with 2.5cm macro, f/2.2 aperture, and a 13-megapixel 50mm portrait camera with f/2.46 aperture. For selfies and video chats, there is a 32-megapixel camera at the front, with an f/2.45 lens.

The device is backed by a 4300mAh battery with 33W flash charge support. On the software front, it runs on Vivo's newest OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.

Connectivity options include options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The handset measures 158.57 x 73.24 x 7.59mm and weighs 176 grams.

The Oppo Reno6 8GB + 128GB model will sell for CNY 2,799 (approx Rs 31,800) while the 12GB + 256GB model will sell for CNY 3,199 (approx Rs 36,400). The Oppo Reno 6 Pro will go on sale for CNY 3,499 (approx Rs 39,800) for the 8GB + 128GB trim while the 12GB + 256GB version will be available at a price of CNY 3,799 (approx Rs 43,200). The Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ 8GB + 128GB model will cost CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 45,500) and the 12GB + 256GB model will sell for CNY 4,499 (approx Rs 51,200).


Nubia Red Magic 6R launched with Snapdragon 888, 144Hz display

The Nubia Red Magic 6R sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz multi-touch sampling rate and peak brightness of up to 770 nits. It supports 10-bit colours and has an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. The Red Magic 6R features up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Nubia has equipped the Red Magic 6R with a 3D cooling system that comes with a metallic mid-frame, superconducting copper foil, thermal gel, graphene, and a VC heat sink. You also get shoulder buttons which support 400Hz touch sampling rate for minimizing input latency.

For the cameras, the Red Magic 6R features a quad-camera setup, which includes a 64MP IMX682 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 5MP macro camera and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the 16MP selfie shooter is housed inside the punch-hole.


Poco M3 Pro with 48MP triple rear cameras launched in India

Poco has just unveiled its first 5G smartphone in India, the Poco M3 Pro. The M3 Pro comes with dual 5G support and offers an immersive 90Hz Full High Definition display, and flagship-level 7nm power efficiency.

Poco M3 Pro houses a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with dual 5G support. The device is equipped with an 8-core CPU with a clock speed of up to 2.2GHz, and a powerful ARM Mali G57 GPU. This GPU enhances the power experience with 60% improvement for machine learning, 30% more performance density, and 30% better energy efficiency.

This device comes equipped with UFS 2.2 flash memory technology which provides three times faster experience than UFS 2.1 and faster game loading time.

Besides that, the Poco M3 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch screen and 90Hz reality flow display panel. The smartphone has been launched in Power Black, CoolBlue and the POCO yellow colour variants.

The handset comes with a 48MP Triple Camera setup at the back which includes Night Mode, Slow Mo, Multiple Time-Lapse Mode, and Clone Photo. It comes with a macro camera that captures details, and a depth sensor that allows users to capture captivating portraits and stunning photos, irrespective of the content users are shooting.

All of this is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery. With normal usage, the company claims that the battery easily lasts throughout two days, ensuring that users don’t have to worry about battery levels, and offers a user-friendly experience. Making it an ideal companion for daily usage, the device comes with a 22.5W fast charger with 18W fast charging support.

POCO M3 Pro will be available for purchase starting 14 June, 2021, via Flipkart. The handset will be available for a price of Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model.
