Update Pakistan set to tour Zimbabwe for two T20Is

The Pakistan women's team, which is currently playing in South Africa, will head to Zimbabwe after their three-match T20I series. Pakistan will play their last match against South Africa on February 3, following which they will play three one-dayers and two T20Is against Zimbabwe in Harare.

The five matches on the tour will be played from February 11 to 20. The 50-over matches will be non-ODIs as Zimbabwe does not have an ODI status, but the 20-over games will be international games.

David Hemp, Pakistan's head coach said, "This is an excellent news for our team as we need sufficient competitive matches so that we go into the World Cup qualifiers as best prepared as practically possible in these difficult times."

This series will be Zimbabwe women's first international assignment since May 2019. All the matches at the Harare Sports Club will be played behind closed doors and in a bio-secure bubble, Zimbabwe Cricket stated in release on Saturday (January 22).
