Update Pattinson suspended, will miss the first Test against Pakistan

James Pattinson, the Australian pacer, has been handed a one-match suspension following a code of conduct violation and will miss the first Test against Pakistan, set to be played in Brisbane. No replacement will be called into Australia's Test squad.

Pattinson has been found guilty of a level two breach of Article 2.1.3 of Cricket Australia's code of conduct for personal abuse of a player. The charge was laid by on-field umpires John Ward and Shawn Craig during Victoria's Sheffield Shield game against Queensland.
