India's injury concerns grew on Monday after pacer Umesh Yadav was forced off the field after complaining of pain in his calf muscle.

Yadav joins the injury list which includes another Indian pacer, Mohammed Shami, who was injured in the ongoing Test series against Australia. Shami was ruled out of the series after a blow to the arm while batting.

The fast bowler complained of pain in his calf while bowling his fourth over and was assessed by the BCCI medical team. He is set to undergo scans to determine the nature of his injury, confirmed BCCI.

After India were bowled out for 326 in the first session of Day 3 of the second Test in Melbourne, taking a 131-run lead, Umesh even picked an early wicket when the out-of-form Joe Burns was squared up by a delivery that moved away after pitching and caught the outside edge of the bat to the 'keeper, but walked off soon after.
