Update Virat Kohli gets to another milestone with 6000 runs for Royal Challengers Bangalore

oyal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli on Saturday added another feather to his already-illustrious cap as he completed 6000 runs for the team during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 Match 25 against Chennai Super Kings in Dubai.

Kohli got to the landmark when he took his 31st run in the 14th over bowled by Ravindra Jadeja.

He had amassed 424 runs from 15 matches at 38.54 with 2 fifties in the now-defunct Champions League T20 while the remaining 5576 runs he has scored in the IPL, which is already the most by any batsman in the league's history. He is the 11th on the list of most runs in the Champions League T20.

Before this game Kohli had amassed 9033 runs from 286 T20 matches at an average of 41.05 with 5 hundreds and 65 half-centuries.

RCB won the toss and opted to bat first against CSK at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. RCB made two changes with Chris Morris making his debut for the franchise while Gurkeerat Singh Mann replaced Mohammad Siraj.

Kohli went on to score 90 not out from 52 balls, which is his highest score against CSK in the last 5 innings (18, 8, 6, 9), to help the Royal Challengers post 169 for 4 in their 20 overs. It is also the highest score by any captain agains MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings.
